Won 1-3
Goals Joe x2 T.Hanson

Great performance from Arron in goal making some brave saves, defenders James & Tom H were strong & competed for the ball, with Tom Hanson scoring from well outside the box. Excellent performance from Tom M in midfield with a great pass to put 3 of our players threw on goal with just the keeper to beat which should have ended in a goal. The reliable as ever Mr Collier came up trumps with 2 more goals one of which was set up by Stan. Andrew & Stan worked hard out on the wings. Tom H corners were delivered perfect, just needing somone to attack them. Some good football was played by both teams who always tried to get the ball down & pass.

2nd Team
A.Crownshaw, T.Armstrong, E.Appleby, J.Saywell, J.Taylor, E.Colton, E.Topley
Subs
Lost 2-1
Goals E.Colton

A different defensive partnership between Theo & Elliot worked well with both winning crucial tackles and doing the simples things when under pressure, playing the ball up the line or knocking the ball out. Jack ran the centre of midfield linking up with Jay and Ewan out on the wings. Jay had a hard battles all game one of which was rewarded with a free kick, Jack struck it well and Ewan was alert to divert the ball into the net. Ewan, once he found his new position alaways tried to play football & linked up well with Elliot. Ed ran hard all game with not much reward, when he did manage to break free he kept his composure but was very unlucky to see his shot come back off the post.

Man of Match Arron & Stan

A brilliant result with some great passing football.
We must always try and close the ball down and not turn our backs on the ball, think where our goal kicks are landing & make sure we are first to the ball.

Not available B.Shepherd,N.Wall, T.Heap H.Ward.
