Improving fitness and leg strength


Aim - To improve goalkeepers' fitness and leg strength as well as their saving and handling skills.

Key Points
  1. 1. Always face the front, never turn your back on the play.
  2. 2. Speed between the cones to ensure the goalkeeper is getting the most out of the drill.
  3. 3. As the keeper dives, ensure he/she is falling onto their shoulder and not on their elbow.
