The under 8s team has been formed from our successful Academy. The boys have played a number of friendlies prior to the season and in a Yorkshire tournament where we came runners up.
The boys are very committed as well as the parents, so we are very hopeful of a good season.
I have added an update to this section to tell all parents and players of the team that as the season has gone on both James and myself have grown more proud week by week to the effort you are putting in to the season and by results you have achieved.
On the down side, i am afraid to tell you that i recieved a letter from the FA telling me that i had to stop reporting the final match details of our games.
i will be taking the details of the boys hard work off the site on Feb 15th. I have a good relationship with all the other managers in our league and would hope that they can see that our websites purpose is to give young kids a bit of fun, and at no stage is it designed to belittle any other team. We show our scores win, lose or draw.
