1st Team
GK A. Rughani, J. Saywell, E. Appleby, A. Crownshaw, E. Topley, B. Shepherd, A. Little Sub L. Brown

Against an evenly matched side the 1st Team worked hard and never gave up tackling, running and passing the ball between them.
Arron provided good safe hands in goal and accurate goal kicks. Jay in defence gave a brave display of heading and tackling. Elliot in defence made some good tackles and strong clearances under pressure. Alex in midfield made some strong tackles and worked hard at getting back to defend. Ed in midfield ran non stop making some good attacking runs from midfield, coming close to scoring on a few occasions. Ben in midfield also ran hard not allowing Brinsworth to run with the ball, some good passes when attacking were made aswell. Andrew did well when he had the ball at his feet, passing well and putting together some good moves. Lewis got involved in the game as soon as he came on and got back well to tackle the Brinsworth players.

Score 0 - 0

Man Of The Match - B. Shepherd

2nd Team
GK E. Colton, T. Hanson, C. McKeown, T. Heap, T. Moreton, J. Collier, H. Raynor.

The 2nd Team without the luxury of a substitute had no choice but to work non stop on such a large pitch.
Ewan made his debut in goal and produced a solid performance. Safe hands and good goal kicks. Tom H in defence ran and tackled hard, clearing the ball well under pressure. Curtis in defence marked the Brinsworth attacker well and made some strong and important tackles. Tom Heap in midfield made some great runs and crosses on the left wing. His 2 goals were well deserved for his efforts. Joe also had a good game tackling hard and making some good attacking runs. Throw ins from Harrison for Joe, to head on, worked well. He also added another goal to his tally. Tom M gave a great display of non stop running, tackling and helping the defence out under pressure. Harrison showed another good display of crossing the ball consistently we need to get on the end of them!!. His throw ins to Joe and down the line were good.

Score 3 - 2

Man Of The Match - C. McKeown

Overall a well deserved win. Praise should be given to Ewan for offering to go in goal and helping his team out. Finally, all players must learn the following " Cup run" song!!

" We are all on the march with Moretons army, we are all going to Wembley, and we will really shake them up when we win the Cup, because Brunsmeer are the greatest football team"
